Errors with internet outgoing emails

All,There are many external (Internet) addresses to which my Notes server usually cant deliver Emails.

Below a sample error

“Router: Failed to connect to SMTP host BEAC.INT because : The server is not responding. The server may be down or you may be experiencing network problems”.

Even I get the MX info for this host and add it manually to the host file of the server, same problem.

Other outgoing mails are delivered normally, with resolution from our ISP DNS.

Could you advise me ?

First thing to do is try to do a trace with nslookup.

nslookup

set type=mx

beac.int

if this is not giving you an answer it could be possible your provider cannot reach their mail record because of several reasons.
