Errors in Log

The following errors are coming up in the notes log continously (Every 3-5 seconds)

04/25/2005 11:09:16 AM Agent printing: Error 4005 at line 9: Notes error: You are not authorized to perform that operation (Server Configuration)

04/25/2005 11:09:16 AM Agent printing: Error 4005 at line 9: Notes error: You are not authorized to perform that operation (Server Configuration)

04/25/2005 11:09:21 AM Agent printing: User-defined error

04/25/2005 11:09:21 AM Agent printing: User-defined error

How can I find out what is generating this error? I am only seeing one scheduled agent running, and I am positive that agent is not causing this error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The agent itself might not be the problem, but the user who signed it could.

Check the name of the user who signed the agent, then check to see if that user has the required permissions to run that agent in the security tab of the server document.

I disabled the only scheduled agent and this error continuies to come up, every 7 seconds it says “Agent print: User-defined error”

Is there a way I can figure out what is generating this error?

On the server console type in tell amgr sched

It’ll tell you which agents are scheduled to be run. There are also “slots” which are used to run agents, they’re called “Executives”. usually you have 2 during the day, more at night.

The command will also tell you which executives are busy if any. If you see one busy, check that agent out … it might be looping. You can try to stop the Amgr (Agent manager) task, but it often requires a restart. But try to fix the problem before rebooting, or else the agent will simply run again and start looping again if that was the problem.

Let us know what happens.
