This Domino Server is in my lab and it has been working fine.

Today when I was trying to connect to the server through Admin Client or Lotus Notes with the administrator id, it was prompting an error “The encrypted data has been modified or the wrong key has been used to decrypt the key”. No problem while feeding password, but prompts error while connecting to the database. What might me the problem?

Subject: Error

Sounds like the database or documents within the database have been encrypted by a key that the active user does not possess. If it’s a database, you’ll need to remove encryption using whatever ID was used to encrypt it in the first place. If it is document encryption, you’ll need the encryption key.
