Error: Your Address Book does not contain any cross certificates capable of authenticating the server

Hi,

I try to replicate database from other Domino server (via command: replicate D05WGW04/05/G/IBM LotusTraveler.nsf) , I got this error:

[26933:00002-3043277024] 03/15/2012 06:55:26 PM Replicator is set to Ignore Database Quotas

[26933:00002-3043277024] 03/15/2012 06:55:27 PM Failed to authenticate with server D05WGW04/05/G/IBM: Your Address Book does not contain any cross certificates capable of authenticating the server.

[26933:00002-3043277024] 03/15/2012 06:55:27 PM Error connecting to server D05WGW04/05/G/IBM: Your Address Book does not contain any cross certificates capable of authenticating the server.

[26933:00002-3043277024] 03/15/2012 06:55:27 PM Unable to replicate with server D05WGW04/05/G/IBM: Your Address Book does not contain any cross certificates capable of authenticating the server.

[26933:00002-3043277024] 03/15/2012 06:55:27 PM Database Replicator shutdown

Anybody can help me on this ?

Please note that, I had the TEMMDM.ID to access to D05WGW04/05/G/IBM and I can use it to replicate LotusTraveler.nsf via Notes Client.

Subject: You’ll need to create a cross-certificate from your server to the “destination” server

You could create the cross-cert at a higher level (all of the way up to your O to IBM’s O) but security best practice would be to generate the a cross-cert with the lowest possible scope that can get the job done. In this specific example, that would be from your server ID to the certifcate for D05WGW04/05/G/IBM.

I has another question, TEMMDM.id is an userID, is it ok for creating cross-cert or I need request new Server ID from D05WDW04 server ?

I tried to create cross-certs from user IDs (TEMMDM.id) via admin tools, but doesn’t success. I still go the missing cross-certs problem. Could you give me the detail steps or give me the reference ?
