I’ve installed the 8.51 64 bit rel. on a Windows 2008 server enterprise R2.When the service start I’ve this error “WNSD has stopped working” (this is a translation from italian) and the nsd does not start!
Someone has a solution?

I have also reproduced this behavior with Win2007 SP2 64 and 8.5.1 and 8.5.1 FP2.
You can contact support with this SPR #JPMS7X3RDX, it is planned to be fixed in 8.5.1 FP4 and 8.5.2, and you can check for a hot fix.

Hi BEN,I am getting below error on Linux OS red hat 5 while restarting the domino server physically.

Subject: WNSD.exe has stopped for notes
just had the same thing troubleshooted.
go to notes directory on your command prompt
e.g .c:/> program files /lotus /notes
and issue the command nsd -kill
if you receive the error close it and launch lotus notes from nlnotes.
After this user was able to launch lotus notes as usual

I already go to notes directory and issue the command nsd -kill
Having an error and already close it, continued by launch lotus notes from nlnotes.
But an error still appear.
What should I do?
Subject: wnsd has stopped working and LN crashes
A user receives this error whenever he tries opening excel attachments in the documents in a database. Others can open this without any issue. Tried re installing LN and repairing MS office, neither worked. Please advise.
