I’m currently getting the following error when trying to have Outlook 2000 client connect to Domino 6.5.1
I installed the Lotus Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook but I received an error when it tried to configure MAPI.
I tried to go to the control panel and under mail add a “Domino Mail” profile but I get the following error.
Internal MAPI error: The properties of Domino Mail could not be saved into the profile. Contact your administrator
Any help would most definitely be appreciated.

A couple things to look for. What SP is your outlook client? DMO requires SP2 or better for outlook. Is your outlook client configured for Corporate/workgroup mail?
There isn’t a lot of documentation out there for this product as of yet. I do have it up and running on an Outlook 2002 client, as well as a couple outlook 2000 clients. I have been working with the IBM development team to work out any issues that I have had. They are currently working on updating the web site with all the proper documentation.

I’ll check on the service pack (don’t have access to the machine at this exact moment) but I do know that it is set for Corporate/Workgroup mode.
Thanks for all your help.

Hi, Sorry to hog the thread but I am curious as to whether this documentation will embellish on ofline use of DAO 6.5.1, most specifically the use of an offline Domino Dirctory or directory catalog the Outlook users can use. I have so far been unable to get anything like this to work.
