Error when resorting views : Collation number specified

Hi all,

I’m getting this error message :

“Collation number specified negative or greather than number of collations in view”

when clicking on a column’s header to resort the view. The error happens only if the view is not categorized.

The view was build from an XML file. If the same XML is loaded on a 7.0.2 client, it works fine, but 6.5.5 produces the error.

Any idea what is causing this error message ?

I got the error from an @dblookup like this - @DbLookup(“”:“”;“”:“keyword.nsf”;“viewName”; "searchKey; column);

The lookup view was corrupt as six similar formulas broke at the same time and had not been touched. I copied the database (which was a keyword database) and re-indexed the new copy and everything started working OK.

I had this when I was still in the designer client editing that view while trying to work with it in the Notes client. I had to run a compact on the database and then a Shift F9 to rebuild the view indexes.
