Error using CreateObject

Hi, I have attachments stored in Notes documents and have provided users with a “View Attachment” button that launches the attached file using the associated program, using “CreateObject”. The code has been working fine but now one user is getting the following error -

“Err 213:Word cannot open document. User does not have access privileges.”

He gets this on all documents he tries to launch using the button.

Here’s the code to launch -

Set word = CreateObject(“Word.Application”)

Call word.Documents.Open(filepath)

word.visible = True

word.Activate

Subject: Error using CreateObject

First thing to check is that a Word process is not running in the background. My users get strange errors every time all instances of Word are “under control” so to speak. If you don’t see any, reboot and try it again. (I know, I know, standard not-an-answer, but it’s worked for me!)

Edit: I forgot to mention, make sure if the user DOES have Word open, they don’t have the “open file” dialog box open!! That was the case the last time a user had a problem with it!!
