ERROR using convert 'unable to open the single copy template associated with this database'

I have a SCT database…it is a copy of mail6.ntf, and SCT is enabled.

However, when I do a load convert…I get the error mentioned above.

Any thoughts? The db exists…so I’m not sure what is up.

I got that message when i tried to open up the database… so I ran another load convert, just replacing it with the mail6.ntf.

Error still came up.

So I ran a load compact -c -i -d -K and the DB opened again :slight_smile:

It is not on the SCT yet though!

I am seeing the same thing, this is on a test server that we just upgraded to 6.02CF1.I will be calling Lotus…hopefully they can help. We have had issues running convert on a normal mail database trying to convert to a SCT template with it not replacing all the design elements.

I have just spoken to a guy at Lotus and found the solution to this problem.

Basically the template for the mail database has not got the ‘Single Copy Template’ option selected in the database properties.

I had this problem when I replicated the template from server A to B then the users mail files also moved, on server B they could not open their databases. Apparently, this only happens when you replicate the template between boxes and not create a New copy.
