hiafter upgrading one of our domino servers to 8.5.1 internal e-mails stay in servers mail.box as dead messages with error “user xy listed in domino directory”, external e-mails were rejected. Mailindatabases are concerned too.
Solution was to open and save the person or mailin-db document in the names.nsf
Works for a first company (with 5 users and some mailin-databases.
But in a second company we experienced the same problem with a new 8.5.1 server for a new (small)office location.
Solution was the same, but now we fear to upgrade all servers in that company with more than 200 users and a few hundred mailin-databases.
One of the servers was already upgraded (the first one) without problems.
Any ideas or experiences?
