I have come across this error several times in the Miscellaneous Log:
07/18/2005 10:42:43 AM Error updating view ‘#37374’ in casemain.nsf: This database cannot be read due to an invalid on disk structure
07/18/2005 10:43:20 AM Error updating view ‘#37730’ in casemain.nsf: This database cannot be read due to an invalid on disk structure
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

MAW! Where’s Ahsan?
Sometimes using Compact and Fixup will restore it. In my poor experience, you may resort to pulling a new replica from another server. I hope you can find a better solution.
use options such as these:
fixup db.nsf -F -J
compact db.nsf -B -i
possibly even
compact … -D

Hi MaryAnn,there are several reasons this could happen:
a) you ran out fo diskspace
b) the database has been corrupted (create a replica on local, delete the server version, replicate it back)
c) It’s an R5 server and a R6 database
d) it’s an R4/R3 db on an R6 server (however works most of the time)
for c) you need to maually copy the DB to a R6 client and replicate it back.
