Hi, I have this error (ERROR: Unable to access Notes.ini. Determine what application or hardware fault is preventing access. Previous cache values used) every time I restart my Domino Server. The Server seems to work fine(I have SMTP, POP3, HTTP and Sametime operative in this server) however having an error in the log is not ideal for me . I’d rather like to have a clean log. Would this possible? Can anyone help me with my request?

The notes ini should be inthe servers data path. Check that it is there.
If you are running the domino server as a windows service then check to see what the service is logged on as. Next check the NTFS permissions on the notes.ini file and make sure that the domino service has the correct permissions to read & execute the file.

You write that notes.ini shuld be in data directory but I have it in domino directory… could it be the reason why?
If it is, Can you tell me how to move the file without problems?
