Error "Type mismatch: CANDIDATE" on views

I’m suddenly getting an error when opening a paritcular view (and other’s containing the same documents) saying “Type Mismatch: CANDIDATE”. I don’t have any fields, forms or views called “CANDIDATE”.

If I open the view with debug running, I see the error, then it goes into view PostOpen as normal. If I exit the database from one of these views, I get the error immediately when re-entering, but if I exit on a different view, I don’t get the error when entering, only when it goes to one of the “faulty” views.

I’ve tried deleting my cache.ndk - makes no difference.

Any ideas?

Look at all the view actions as well - it’s probably in one of those

Thank you - that was it. Strange thing though. Why would a coding error on a view action (which should only be evident when I invoke the action), produce an error when opening the database?

Yeah, not sure of the reason, guess it’s compiling/cacheing the script in advance so picks up on errors.

Just something I’ve noticed in the past
