Error Sending mail

I received a mail twice by the same user (user A).The first mail is good, but the second is stranger because it has been sent by another user (user B) who isn’t authorized to send mail for user A.

User A and User B haven’t the second mail in their sendmail views.

Both users are owner of their database.

I haven’t found errors or something else in server’s logs.

This problem occurred twice in the same day but with anonther user A and another user B.

How do you think it is possible ?

Thanks to help me to understand this strange problem.

I don’t have an answer for you about your problem but I do have a diagnostic tip for you that I always use to help me resolve these kinds of problems:

If you still have these messages in your inbox, select them and then select File, Export from the menu bar. Use “structured text” as the type and export them to your desktop. (Make sure you change the export to “Selected Documents” or you will export all messages in your inbox).

One you have exported the messages, you will be able to view the SMTP Header information. Now you can start to piece togther time, route servers, SMTP Originators, etc. This is a great way to view all of the field information that makes up a MIME message. This has been an invaluable tool for me when diagnosing routing/smtp issues, spam, etc.

Hope this helps.
