I have 2 Notes servers running in a cluster but for some reason the second server in the cluster won’t send external emails for everyone except a couple of users, it does however do internal just fine.
Both servers have a Connection document for SMTP which goes straight to the MIMESweeper server for external routing but when an email is sent is still goes through the main server in the cluster when we look at a successful emails header.
The error which we get is that this system is not configured to relay mail for to Permanent error 550. John_Doe/ho/uk/company@company.co.uk No such user
Why does the user suddenly get a underscore in their name and the @company.co.uk bit on the end?
This is really doing my head in now and I’m at a loss as to why email won’t send from either server in the cluster to external. Any ideas would be welcome at this stage.
