Error replying invitation in notes 6.5.1

Hi.

We recently upgraded our mail-server from Domino 5.0.8 to 6.5.1.

First everything seemed to be working fine, but now as I’ve installed notes 6.5.1 clients to few of our users as a test, I encountered a broblem.

If I’m sending an meeting invitation from notes 5.0.8 client to user using 6.5.1 client, and he/she responds it, the following error message is received by the user.

Delivery failure report

Your message (subject) was not delivered to User Name/O/C@DominoDomain

Here is the problem. The name of the domino domain contains a space and everything after it is missing.

I wonder why notes 6.5.1 seems to convert my address into this format instead of using User Name/O/C inside local notes domain…

In messaging setting of the server there is setting: SMTP allowed within the local internet domain: Disabled. (It should be using notes routing…Or I’m I wrong??)

If I’m using notes 5.0.8 clients everything seems to be fine, but when answering into invitation using 6.5.1 client this error occures.

Any ideas anyone?

That one solved the problem.

Tried to find documents related to this problem (like one You posted link for) before posting in here, but couldn’t find that one.

However, the problem is now fixed.
