Error Opening iNotes

I have been using iNotes with r5 and now with r6 with no problems. This morning suddenly we can no longer open a mail file with the iNotes design. Either replacing a r6 iNotes or r5 iNotes design. I replaced the design back to the non iNotes design and everything works fine.

I get a line and a little box in the upper right hand corner, like iNotes is trying to open but that’s it.

Any ideas?

No answer here. I’ve run into the same problem on an initial install. We’re just testing it and have 2 mail files that came up perfectly, and one that displays just as you describe. Let’s hope someone pays attention and helps us out!

I had a similar problem that was related to the ACL settings.

I have the following entries:

Default - No Access

Read Public Document = checked

Write Public Document = checked

Anonymous - Unspecified - No Access

Read Public Document = unchecked

Write Public Document = unchecked

Thanks for the info Gary!

Turns out that two of my users (who were having this issue) altered their ACL. I reset the two entries, default & anonymous back to the normal setting and it resolved the problem.
