Error opening database in DDE

Hi I am consistently having problems opening a few databases on an 8.0.1 server with DDE. I get the error message:

“‘Opening mydb.nsf’ has encountered a problem. Error creating new project”

It doesn’t affect all databases on the server but I can’t find any consistency with which DBs are affected.

Subject: databases in directories?

can you open the same db locally? If you could send a sample db that doesn’t open, that would help!
