Error "only plain text can be used in this type of field"

Hello all,getting this error when i populate alot of addresses in the BCC field (1200 to be exact)

but if i import in to notepad and split into three sections, it goes out so im assuming there is no real “text” problems…

Can any help with the text limit in the BCC field or how to expand it?

1200 is just too much…can you use groups?

im pulling the emails from a database search and creating a new memo with the addresses in the bcc field filled by an array…I dont know how to create a temporary group just for the single mail instance…

any ideas?

actually, its a sales alert…the search is different every time, and a need a memo to come up so the salesperson who did the search can generate the email “blah blah is onsale for 30 mins” etc…

so the message and the list will change everytime, but the database is the same

Then think about personalizing the message a bit further. Instead of sending one email out to 1200 People in the BCC field, send one email per person, putting their address in the To field and stating out the email:

“Dear so and so,”

Subject: how about creating a temp group?

any ideas how to do this? create a temp group then email the group, then delete it when the memo closes?

individually will not work based on how the email is filled out at that instant…
