Error on Listen function: Network Session Table is full

Hi,We have total 4 servers clustered all running on AIX 5.3 TL9 64 bit.

One non critcal server just upgrade from R7.0.2 FP2 to R8.5.1 (64 bit) a month ago. The server is running fine and found no issue on server operation.

Just a week ago, we upgraded our AdminP server which is also from R7.0.2 FP2 to R8.5.1 but this round is in 32 bit. We can’t upgrade to 64 bit domino 8.5.1 due to trendmicro scanmail still not supported.

After this upgrade, it created a few major operation problem. The errors server encountered as followed.

02/11/2010 09:21:21 Listener task for port TCPIP is suspending for 20 seconds due to listen errors

Once the errors started, server will refuse all client connection, refuse route mails, clustering fails.

Has anyone know if its due to any misconfiguration of the server settings or notes.ini? Or not compatible 32 bit domino with 64 bit of OS (AIX 5.3 TL9)? Or additional parameter is require from R7.0.2 FP2 to R8.5.1?

Any help is urgently require!!!

I understand this is your adminP server, but if possible, remove 3rd party products to see if they are potentially causing the error.

Hi,Your msg well noted, the only 3rd party software is trendmicro scanmail. I will try to unload it and see if its the culprit.
