hello,
we’ve got the follwing problem at client’s site:
we shortly migrated all server to domino 6, all clients are still r4.6x.
after renaming a person, there are some scheduled agents in the mail-database to re-activate with that new id.
if we do so, the error appears: ‘could’nt load agent; data is corrupt’ ( i hope, this is the correct translation from german into english )
fixup and/or refresh design of the database isn’t helpful.
any ideas would be great.

Subject: error message when activating agents after person rename
If the agent is set to run on a release 6 server AdminP uses Release 6 feature OnBehalfOf to change (rename) the agent signer name of the agent. This feature relies on the new security which is not supported in 4.6. So 4.6 clients will not be able to edit these agents. You need at minimum release 5.4 in order to get a release that can handle this. To make agents accessible in 4.6 clients use a 5.4 or above client and clear OnBehalf field.
Note that if the agent was scheduled to run on 4.6 server, it would not be touched (i.e. it would not renamed).
To read more about this feature with screen shot of where to find this field and so forth, please take a look at couple of articles about Release 6 agents in the Agent FAQ they both discuss it. FAQ #0 has an index of all my agent articles.
Subject: workaround
Hi,
does anyone knows a posibility to correct the agents for a 4.6 Client automatically?
I’ve tried to delete the field $OnBehalfOf by script, no success. Deleting it in the 6.0.1 client will work. So, what does the client besides deleting the $OnBehalfOf field?
Thank You for help!
Stefan
