Trying to install 8.5.1 on 3 new Windows Server 2003 servers. All coming up with the same error during install:
An error occured during the setup.
No documents have been modified since specified time.
35 percent of the setup was complete
Setup failed processing Creating Administration Request Database…
I installed 8.5.1 on another server yesterday so I know it can work, but not on these 3 servers, all of which I need to have up and running asap.
Any help with this would be much appreciated.
Subject: A few thoughts
Do those servers have proper access to the admin4.nsf on the Domino Server you are trying to pull the system databases from (admin4.nsf, names.nsf)? You can try just making an OS Level copy from another Domino server of admin4.nsf and rerun the setup to see if it gets past this point…
My guess would be ACL issue or maybe network connectivity between the servers…
Subject: corrupt events4.nsf
I had the same problem. In my case the server I were copying the system databases from had a corrupt events4.nsf database.
I deleted the corrupt events4.nsf database and then the setup finished correct.

…I copied the admin4.nsf from another server and then re-ran the set up successfully. Not sure why that is, not ideal, but it’s worked and my 3 servers are up and running.
