Before you ask, after pointing out my last error in the notes help, I downloaded the latest file from IBM…
I’ve spotted another one. Help for LS function
SetEnvironmentVar method.
Extracts from the help
Top section is as it should be:
issystemvar
Boolean. Optional. If True, no dollar sign character (“$”) is prepended to the variable name. Defaults to False.
–
Further down in the detail:
–
SetEnvironmentVar prepends a dollar sign character (“$”) to the name$ before setting the value of the environment variable, unless you specify issystemvar as False or have already included a “$” as the first character of the name$.
–
So the top section says correctly that if you specify issystemvar as True, then the $ is not appended to the file. It also correctly states it is defaulted to false.
BUT - the bottom section specifically states “unless you specify issystemvar as False”…
So…Lotus take note - fix the help to make it more consistent!
