Error in Monitoring Results

I see this error recurring. Any idea if it’s a problem and how to track it down?

Router: Error autoprocessing message messageid to Notesusername: Unable to open the main calendar document. Prompt user before searching on the appointment UNID

What is happening is that that C&S code is getting into a situation where the Router is delivering an update to an entry that is not on the users calendar so we have potential problem saving the update to the mail file. Since the C&S code cannot find the note to associate the update to, it wants the user to be prompted by the template. In this case its the Router doing the work, not the template so it simply logs the error.

We have identified example cases where this error would occur:

The Invitee has deleted the calendar entry or archived it off.
A reschedule arrived before the invitation itself arrived.

There may be other cases as well but the ones above are the most likely. I encourage you to open a PMR with Technical Support so they can collect data if you can’t isolate one of these causes.

Those are both likely common situations with users managing calendars on smart phones as well as with the Notes client. I’ll try to trace a few of them and isolate it.
