I have a user who only started having this problem today whenever he wants to initiate spellcheck on a new memo.I’ve tried all the solutions found on the forum but none worked. I’ve tried re-installing the *.dic files in the data folder, deleted the user.dic file, re-installed notes,cleared the cache, changed the value of the environment and system variable TEMP… but finally I believe that this is a problem with permission rights as someone suggested.
When I log in to Windows (win2k, sp4) with my windows administrator username and login to notes with that user’s ID, the spellcheck works fine. It’s only when I login to windows with that user’s username and attempt to use notes that the problem occurs.
This problem has only started today and I’ve no idea what has happened or how I can fix the spellcheck.
