I’m using for many years the “oracle8” connector in my Lotus Notes App. for most users it works well, but sometimes some users have the following error :
Error creating product object
Error: Cannot load Connector Library ‘oracle8’
Here are the connector loaded in the client :
connector : file, notes, odbc2, oledb
meta-connector : broker, collexp, meter, order, tcc, trace
And no Oracle8 connector !!!
I think users when they open their computer, launch immediately lotus notes, but network maps are not all mounted, oracle client is on the network.
When LotusNotes is launched, it doesn’t see oracle client map until notes is closed and relaunched few minutes later.
do you know how to force Lotus to reload or re-read the connectors available.
