Error compacting : Db is currently in use by you or another user

Hi all,Whenever I try to compact any database it gives the following error:

“Error compacting abc.nsf: Database is currently in use by you or another user”

I found the reason is that Notes 6 has introduced the concept of locking.

Even if one user is using the db it gives this error.

I have to drop all sessions to compact the db.

What is the workaround to this ?

I too am facing this problem. Any ideas would be most helpful.

Make sure everyone is out of the database and run the compact task as a program. Least that worked for me…
