Error Compacting Database

I was using Shared mail. Three weeks ago we decided not to use Shared mail. I went through all the steps to “unlink” our mailfiles and deleted the Shared Mailfiles.

I am trying to compact a database and get the error “The object store that is used by this note was not found or is not a Notes database”. The compact process shuts down and won’t compact the database.

I ran fixup and updall but no go. Is there a way to delete all documents that were once used in Shared Mail?

How can I fix this?

Sorry, I am just now seeing this. The command to remove old shared mail documents is this:

load object collect mail\mailfile.nsf

Then after this completes you should be able to compact.
