I have a java agent that uses some notes Documents and a JDBC:ODBC link to an iSeries DB2 database, then uses the info to build FOP XSL files for conversion into PDF.
When i run this local from an agent menu - i have no problems.
When i run this on a schedule on the server - i have no problems.
When I run this from a button on a web form - after a few xsl files are created, i get an Error - “Error cleaning up agent threads” … and from this point onwards my agentContext and sessiona re invalid and any attempt to use them results in an Exception saying the Item has been recycled.
I am not recycling it myself. At no point in my code is the Session, agent context, or a database object recycled.
I have removed calls to the garbage collector.
I have looked at other postings and not found something that applies directly to this so far. Apologies if i have missed something.
Is there a difference in running the agent locally and scheduled to under HTTP with regards to the threading?
Can anyone point me towards the solution please? The whole point of this exercise is to allow users to create PDF’s on demand.
Any and all help will be most appreciated.
Thanks all,
Kieran
