One of our user is not able to create nor access a mail archive for a mail-in database.
The user setup is as follows;
-
Notes client R7
-
Domino server 7.0.1
The user is able to create, access and maintain his own archive just fine.
The problem starts when the user is trying to create and use an archive from within their mail-in database.
Using a mail-in database the username in the tools-preference is ofcourse the name of the mail-in database and not the hierarchical username.
When the user tries to either add selected documents to an archive, or to open the archive settings, he gets the errormessage: Error accessing archive information.
He is not allowed to create a new archive.
When I do this for him, as an administrator, I have no problem.
I can create a new archive for this mail-in database, but when the user is then trying to access that archive, he still gets the same message.
Users ACL is
Type: Person
Access: Editor
All options selected accept create lotusscript/javascript agents.
I have tested this also with another user that is using a different mail-in database, but the same error appears.
Is this related to not using a hierarchical name in the tools-preferences, because this is a mail-in database?
Is this related to the access type in the ACL?
We do not want our users to have full manager access to any database.
Are you able to provid me with a proper solution to this problem?
