When replacing the design of a DB, and specifying “Hide formulas and LotusScript” I’m getting the error “Design Replace Failed, Memory allocation request exceeded 65,000 bytes”. When “Hide …” is NOT checked, the design replace is successful – it runs with no errors. I’m almost certain that I have run “Recompile all LotusScript”, which is associated with this error, and I have several design elements whose size is > 65K. I’ve tried re-saving some of these design elements, but I still get the error. I don’t want to manually re-save ALL the design elements. This happens both on Local (7.0) and on the server (7.02) Any ideas?
A little background: A few years back when we were able to identify templates by the DB property instead of just .NTF, I started using .NSFs as templates instead of .NTFs – .NTFs were still ODS 20 and .NSFs were ODS 43. This worked fine until recently when I needed to hide the design of an existing DB and found I needed an .NTF for the design replace. I did a “New Copy” of the .NSF template into an .NTF file, and got an .NTF with an ODS of 43. This is what I’ve been using.
