ERROR (4): can't attach to process [ audiodg: 4c1c] - (5) Access is denied

Hi,

I got a number of notes client crash at random time or at random event. The only similarity, all are using Lenovo branded computer. The nsd file contains the following. Our users are using 9.0.1 client. Perhaps I should install the fix pack if it makes it more stable.

ERROR (4): can’t attach to process [ audiodg: 4c1c] - (5) Access is denied.

Anyone can comment or give me direction the cause of the crash?

Subject: That’s not the cause of your crash

You’ll want to search for “panic” or “fatal” in the NSD, but most likely you’ll just need to open a PMR so we can investigate.

Subject: Virus scanner

This looks like a classic virus scanner issue, where it bocks processes talking to each other.

Add an exception to the Virus scanner, for the entire IBM directory to test it.
