Error 208 Cannot create automation object while creating symphony object

Hi,Need an urgent fix …

There is a button added in notes mail, which when clicked, generates a report in Symphony sheet.

Couple of users are getting error “208 Cannot create automation object” in the following line of the script, where the object is getting created:

'Symphony generation stuff

Set SerMgr = CreateObject("com.sun.star.ServiceManager")

The user have symphony installed in his system.

Any idea, what could be the probable cause and how it can be fixed.

Hi, I used to face this issue and finally found the solution for the same.

You need to open regedt32.exe and add the following registry entries as mentioned here The Service Manager Component - Apache OpenOffice Wiki

This solved my issue!!
