Is there any way to enter the following time period in calendar as an new appointment?
Start at Friday 22 Feb 2008 00:05 time zone for start time GMT+08:00 HK time
Ends at Thu 21 Feb 2008 19:45 time zone for end time GMT-8:00 Canada time

Is the problem you just don’t know what to enter in the appointment as the start and end time are in different time zones? If so:
in China HK time:
Start: Fri 22 Feb 2008 00:05
End: Fri 22 Feb 2008 11:45
or in Pacific (Vancouver, BC)
Start: Thu 21 Feb 2008 08:05
End: Thu 21 Feb 2008 19:45
or in GMT
Start: Thu 21 Feb 2008 16:05 (GMT)
End: Fri 22 Feb 2008 03:45 (GMT)
You could do all the math (adding/subtracting 16 hours) to figure this out or I like to use this simple internet tool:
