Thru testing, I recently found that apparently the Enhanced Quota feature no longer works once you’ve enabled Managed Replicas?
We still have the option, thru Policy, to show the quota indicator on the mail file, and by hovering over the indicator you can see that you’re over quota, but you’re not warned when you send a message. This is causing grief for Traveler users, whose Traveler client can no longer connect once they’re over quota.
Subject: Actually, Quotas don’t work for local replicas at all…
The following SPRs exist for this issue:
SPR # MCHZ98LSYD - Enhancement Request: Managed Replica To Use Same Quota Information Icon As Server Copy Of Mail Db
Description:
Quota Information icon as server copy so the user does not have to click on the icon to see this information. Or create a feature to allow this to be configurable by the administrators when configuring managed replicas.
Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this.
SPR # DMSE8XDJY8 - Administrator should have Option set quota for Managed Mail replica, without Adding Notes.ini parameters
Description:
Customer want a option which will control MMR quota and set the Notification to the user about users local mail replica quota status
For this SPR this is the workaround:
Please add following parameter in client notes.ini:
