Encryption Key Problems

I am having a problem with a user and encrytion. The problem user recieves an encrypted mail from any other user (problem user is only person in TO: ) and when trying to open this mail, he gets the error “You cannot access portions of this document because it is encrypted and was not intended for you, or you do not have the encryption key”.

Problem user’s public key in the ID is exactly the same as that in the Domino Directory.

ID is International Encryption not North-American.

There are no additional Secret/Public keys added.

If there is an attachment in the encrypted mail and he tries to open it, a new error appears “You must supply the bulk decryption key in order to extract this file open…”

But i think this error is due to the user not being able to decrypt the actual mail in the first place.

Problem user has 6.0.2 Client with R6 mailfile.

Mailfile corrupt ? ID corrupt ?

Suggestions ?

I don’t know whether this can help, but be aware that the receivers private key must match with its public key in the directory.It is most likely some ID corruption.

As I have said before, the key in the ID is the same as the key in the domino directory.
