Encrypted DB R6 <-- replication --> R5?

Hi Guys,

will I run into problems while replicateing encryped databases between R6 servers and a R5 servers?

You shouldnt do. Remember the server only replicates documents, even if it doesnt have the encryption keys.

We run a large number of encryption keys in our application in our lab across many versions of v6 and v5 and havent seen any problems…

after thinking it trough twice and building some test cases I came to the same conclusion.
