I have a script in Formula, which automatically creates a locations page and prefills all the needed information. I’m now wanting to update that with enabling the replication page. I’m trying to use Formula scripting to keep with the rest of the coding but it’s not working.
This is what I’ve tried:
FIELD ReplicationEnabled := “1”;
&
@Command([EditGotoField]; “ReplicationEnabled”);
@SetField(ReplicationEnabled; “1”)
But the document doesn’t update itself to add the check in the checkbox. I’ve tried searching and found similar issues, but with no solution which I haven’t tried…
If you’re entering values with the document open and in edit mode, i think you might need to use the descriptive value for the checkbox, rather than the alias. Try using:
FIELD ReplicationEnabled:=“Replication is enabled for this location”;
instead. May not be the solution, but worth a try!
It is not clear that from where you are creating location document and filling all the needed information. Please clear it first. Your formulas will defiantly work from an agent, which should be present in your local names.nsf.
I’m not sure what you mean…The tool which I have it posted on a DB off of a server. The scripting can do everything when creating a location’s page off the user’s names.nsf DB. The only issue I’m having is getting those checkboxes to be checked.
