Enable TCPIP port in Mac

Hi,

I have installed Notes client in my Macbook. However, there is no TCPIP port for me to choose in Notes. I tried to download NiniX 1.7 but when I open it, it shown an error “An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must shut down”. I have tried to restart my notebook but still encountered the same error.

Can anyone please advise how can i solve this problem?

Thanks.

In R7 the notes.ini is a simple Textfile like in all other platforms. Open “Notes Preferences” with TextEdit.

Thanks for your reply.

I am new to notes and mac, could you please give me more detail on it?

Choosing “Notes Lotus” → Preference → There are five items for selection, which one should I select?

Thank you.

What do you mean “there are five items for selection”. Are you opening the Notes Preferences file in TextEdit, as advised?
