Hi!
How can I get Domino to remember username/ password with custom login forms? If you dont use custom login form, you have the option “Save this password in your password list” within the usual prompt. Can I in any way get the same functionality without using cookies? Where does the actual “password list” get saved / listed?
My users really want the functionality with username/password listed (especially since we are using pretty advanced/ “hard to remember” password-strings…)

Subject: Enable Domino remember username/ password
First; this is nothing you can set on the server side. It is a browser side feature. If the user move to another machine or to a different browser on the same machine he will be prompted for the username/password again.
Second; This is “almost” as safe as if you where not using any password at all. Wy go to the trouble of using a “pretty advanced and hard to remember password-string” . That’s like double-locking the front door of the house but also leaving a copy of the keys under de welcome mat because it is to much trouble to keep them with you during the day.
