EmbedObject duplicate my richtext

hi everyone.

what I get with this code is 1 item of type richtext on doc:

Dim rtiAttach As NotesRichTextItem

Set rtiAttach = New NotesRichTextItem( doc , “Attach” )

if I try to embed a file into the richtext:

Dim rtiAttach As NotesRichTextItem

Set rtiAttach = New NotesRichTextItem( doc , “Attach” )

Set objFile = rtiAttach.EmbedObject(

EMBED_ATTACHMENT , “” , “c:\aaa.xls” )

what I get is 2 items with the same name (Attach) inside the document. The first empty, the second with my file aaa.xls

anyone have ideas about that?

This has been discussed here many times before, including recently.

It’s normal to have multiple items with the same name for rich text fields. Don’t worry about it.
