Has anyone ever found a solution to displaying the deleted document indicator (“X”) in an embedded view in an application that also has soft deletions enabled?
Enabling the embedded view property of “show selection margin” lets you see the “X” in the selection margin when you delete a document as long as you haven’t enabled soft deletions. it looks like you need to make a choice of either showing the “X” in an embedded view for deleted docs OR having soft deletions.
The issue has been around for a while and i was hoping that it would have been addressed in 8.5.
