We have an embedded view ont eh document that contains a form formula. We then have an action ont he embedded view that will modify all the items in the view. Since we don’t know if the user is editting the document, we want to close out the document, and then simply redisplay it. We do the redisplay by calling an agent that re-opens the document.
This has been working fine for months. I am not sure of exactly what version of notes stoped this, but when the document re-opens it opens with the form name in the form formula.
Note: If you open the embedded document, and come back - we use the same reopen method and it work fine.
The work around is to have the user always edit the document and then have focus on the document, and it will work fine.
Not sure of this is a bug, or if somebody has a work around.
Cheers,
John
