I have an embedded view with the “Show Selection Margin” property checked. The selection margin is there, but there seems to be a bug in the way the marks work.
When I select documents the check marks appear. When I deselect, the checkmarks stay until I manually refresh (F9). The deletion marks (X’s) exhibit the same behavior. It doesn’t matter whether I am in edit or read mode.
Anyone else getting this? I am using Notes Client v6.0. on WinXP. Servers are also on 6.0.
*Client upgrade to 6.0.1 did not help.

I just encountered this problem today, and was able to solve it by turning off the transparent background for the embedded view.

This is a definite BUG…—… LotusIt is a flaw that affects good UI design.
However, I was able to keep a textured background by adding it to the “view’s image body” and turning off the “Transparent Background” of the embedded view on the form.
This renders the background behind all the docs with the same background texture, makes the selection margin (white - no background ) and does allow you to select and de-select the check marks.

I am having a different problem but it deals with the same thing. The margin is there, I can mark a document with a checkmark. When I deselect that works fine but when I press delete, the margin is to small and they don’t show. The status bar is the only way to tell that they are actually selected or marked for deletion.
