When trying to embed a view in a form, the database which I want to select the view is from does not appear the selection list. The databases are located in a folder within the data directory. What can I do to “select” the database?

You need to have a bookmark to that database open in Designer. Just in ‘Recent Databases’ will do.

Make sure you have at least ‘Reader’ access to the database.
