Hi there (and a happy new year everybody!),
I was just playing with embedded views, wondering whether there is a more flexible way to display a view from an other database, when I found these two threads:

For since we’re running 7.0.1 I’m asking myself (and now you, too), if it’s possible to manually enter a replic ID and a view-name instead of choosing from the listbox…?
Hopefully greetings & thanks in advance,
Buzzy
Subject: Embedded view from second DB
Well, for it seems that this is not possible (yet!?) I’m using this workaround so far:
In the DB where to view resides, I created a form, embedded the view and the useed copied & pasted it to the form an the DB where I need that view…works too.
Greets,
Buzzy
