I had an initial problem figuring out how to embed a view from another database and eventually found that you have to bookmark the other db in designer for it to be available in the database drop down list.
Now if your working on a template that refreshes a live and test version of a database how can you make the embedded view look at the live version and test version of additional db’s it uses? The way I see it both db’s will point to the live one and never to their own additional test db’s.
