Embedded view doesn't show

I have an embedded view on a form(Using Java Applet).When I try to view it on my browser(IE), it wont show up.

What I see is just a rectangle with red border line and a small red x-mark at the upper left of it. But it shows when I select “Using HTML” on the Embedded View Info Tab.

Does it have something to do with enabling or configuring something on the domino server? Please help.

Subject: embedded view doesn’t show

Check that you’ve got java loaded on your machine. It may not have been installed by default. You can also check the version by entering, “java -version”, from a command line window.
