We have an situation where a client of ours is sending us emails with file attachments that are not showing up in the Notes 6.5 client. She uses the FILE, INSERT feature on Outlook to attach her EXCEL files. But, when we get them in Notes 6.5, the message does not have an attachment. However, if I look at the source of the email message (VIEW, SHOW, PAGE SOURCE) I can see the file has been included. It is embedded in the source or encoded as base64.
The embedded attachment will show if I’m using Outlook Express or Mozilla Mail but will not show in Notes 6.5. It is hidden in the page source of the email message. How can I get Notes to decode these and show them??
