Emails missing inbox & all documents on client

I have a user where out of nowhere, any emails she has later than the date of January 25th, 2010 don’t show up in her inbox or in her ‘All Documents’ view. The emails are there because we opened her mail file manually from the client it was all there. But when she launches her client directly, all of those emails do not show up.

I have refreshed and redesigned the database. I reinstalled the client (over top). I haven’t done any updates or compacts because this appears to be a client issue and not an issue with the mail file at all.

Any suggestions?

Could you be opening a local replica or a different replica of the one that has the emails. Compare the database properties, server name, file name etc.

Could they have selected show unread only in the view?
